First Week Back At Work

My first week as a working mother has made me want to become a soccer mom. I was sleep deprived for the better part of the week since Trenton did not want to sleep at night, and trying to get back into the groove after being gone for two months and keeping up with some housework. I give a lot of credit to people who have done this before me!

Trenton's First Shot at Dr's - Ouch!!

Trenton had to go to his pediatrician Friday, Oct. 9th to get his second Hepatitus B Vaccine. He was amazingly calm during our visit (no crying!) until the shot came. We all survived though, and the pediatrician was happy with his weight gain. He was 8 lbs. 11 oz!

Trenton also met Grandma and Grandpa Huston for the first time this week. Mom and Dad were very grateful for the extra rest we were able to get! ;)

Trenton's 1 Month Dr. Appt.

Mr. Trenton is a healthy boy - and growing fast! He is now 7 lbs. 6 oz. (as of last Friday) and 18 1/2" long. He loves meal-time, but is getting hesitant to take his naps - too much to see and do now!

One Month and Counting...

Well... Mr. Trenton is now a month old (well, will be in a few days). His first three weeks were spent in the NICU (Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit) of Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA. Mom and Dad ran themselves ragged going back and forth to visit our little one two to three times per day; it was hard on us to leave him each day and come home by ourselves.

My parents came and were able to visit Trenton while he was in the hospital, but unfortunately had to leave before he was able to come home. Mom was a big help in tidying up our house for his arrival and making sure Eric and I were well fed (thanks, Momm!) Trenton looks forward to seeing Grandma and Granpa Hornacek in November, and Grandma and Granpa Huston in November.

Everyone will have to bear with me, I am new the the blogging world - but will try to keep everyone informed of new and exciting things in our new extended family. Let me know if you'd like to see/know things I am not including here.
